Cryptopia Arises
The birth of Cryptopia began with the discovery of the second Satoshi Nakamoto whitepaper. The first one gave us the gift of the blockchain, but the second one gave us the roadmap to reaching this technology's fullest potential as well as maximizing its positive impact.
For us Unifiers, it was a godsend. We have long labored for a society where no one is left out, where every voice gets a chance to be heard. Our entire history was filled with actions that supported small businesses, affordable housing, and empowering communities that were marginalized.
Blockchain technology, with its inherent security and transparency, will provide ordinary people with this voice. It will help us create change on a fundamental level-from the ground up. It will help address real needs and provide real solutions. It is a blueprint for a true utopia. The Unifiers traveled to the newly-built seasteading platform where Cryptopia was founded. We were eager to be part of building this nation-state so we could show the world how a model society should work. We were off to a good start, or so it seemed.
I met personally with three other societal leaders and we hammered out an agreement: the Inheritors would help create our infrastructure, the Technocrats would build our internet capa- bility and the Earth's Disciples would help keep our environment livable and our living sustainable. We Unifiers would help with self-governance, education, and ensuring every citizen is granted their rights and a chance to work for their future.
The Factions Unravel
Then it began to unravel. We Unifiers made a mistake in openly trusting the other factions to support our causes, when in fact they were only after their own agendas. In particular, the Technocrats had made it their mission to deprive the citizens of both their livelihood and essential freedoms. Sam Clark, in his arrogance, believes he knows better than the masses what is best for them, and I believe he will use everything in his power to change this city into a nightmarish technological police state.
As such, we had no choice but to take a stand. The promise of Cryptopia is too precious for us to repeat the mistakes of the Old World, and for the sake of the people who came here dreaming of a better life, the Unifiers will work to fulfill that promise.
One Dream
Our dream is to have a nation where:
- Workers rights are respected
- Voters rights are respected
- Personal information is private, not privatized
- Everyone has a chance to work for a living
- Everyone has a choice when it comes to charting their future
To this end, we have initiated various programs within Crypto- pia. Primarily, we will provide free education to all Cryptopian citizens, starting from a young age. The core tenet of this education is understanding their rights as citizens and respecting the rights of others. We will work to continually improve our voting systems and hold referrendums on impor- tant national issues. We will also advise workers to form unions, provide them with legal support, and work towards the welfare of their families. We will encourage the use of renewable energy for the sake of our quality of life, though we will make do with fossil fuels for now to ensure the nation's stability.
Most of all, we will protect the rights of citizens from perilous agendas. We will work to keep personal genetic information as private and not to be used for some eugenics program. We will also act to prevent automation and robotics from depriving citizens with decent jobs.
The Technocrats wish to paint the Unifiers as an unruly mob. However, I was elected to lead the Unifiers. No one elected Sam Clark-he simply declared he was fit for the job and that was that. And his vision for Cryptopia is to create a fascist nightmare where all our genetic information has been mapped out and stored in his servers, our population forcibly sterilized, and where to start a family, one must first pass stringent tests that they designed. What this means is that the Technocrats will decide the type of people who get to live in Cryptopia. Again, this is nothing more than a concerted effort to concentrate power in the hands of the elite, a return to the ways of the Old World.
Cryptopia needs jobs for everyone who wants to work, not a false heaven where robots take over so that industries could meet quotas and maximize profits. Our citizens need job security, they need workers rights protected, and they need their families protected.
We don't expect all our programs to yield positive results at once, but with the wisdom of the masses backing it, we know they will do so in the long term. Such is the case with democra- cies. We can't always predict where the winds will blow, but we can always adjust our sails.
A True Utopia
We believe that everyone has the potential to make something of themselves-they just need to be given the opportunity. Cryptopia represents that opportunity, but it must be guarded so the gates open for all. Not just for a fortunate few, for the wealthy and the intellectual elite. As Unifiers, it is our solemn duty to ensure the gates stay open. This is how the promise of Cryptopia is fulfilled.

Traditional
The start of the new civilization begins with inhabiting Cryptopia. Like farmers searching for new land, people have settled in Cryptopia to build a new life and tradition to start a clean slate. The Unifiers are the representatives of the countless people who arrived with only their belongings and a dream.
