Tech
Story
Ambitious and innovative, the Technocrats have established themselves as one of the main pillars of Cryptopia society. Everything and anything you use is most likely created by the Technocrats: from your phones, screens, buildings, and even your grandmother’s pacemaker. Though dreams like these don’t come easy, and most especially, cheap, the Technocrats are confident in their capability to turn their ideas into reality.
Sam Clark, the leader and creator of the Technocrats, is the young innovator who stemmed the foundation of his faction with STEM research, and scientific solutions. Meticulous with details, his faction sees the growth in economics and society can only be done through rigorous calculations and scientific research.
With Cryptopia being the central hub for business, products, and supplies, the Technocrats are eager to see what’s available and the latest in production, opting not to discriminate on resources, choosing only to see what fits into their latest tech blueprint. When it comes to a potential technological breakthrough, the ends justify the means.
People who disagree with the Technocrats see them as wasteful, disorganized dreamers at best, and cold-hearted, calculated, and Orwellian misanthropes at worst. Regardless, Technocrats are confident due to everyone’s dependency on their technology, so they are willing to take the risk. They are part of Cryptopia’s foundations, the backbone behind every business and system of power.
The future is now. As many people look towards the years for the future in excitement, Sam Clark and the Technocrat know that if you have the right blueprint and resources, the future is what you make of it.

How will the Tech Faction Improve Quality of Life in Cryptopia?
Wouldn’t it be great if we could have a world where everyone’s objective is to improve the quality of life using technological advancement? Well, that’s exactly what the Tech faction seeks to achieve. This means, life will be more convenient, less labor intensive, and overall a better living standard. In order to achieve this, they will need to have a limited population of experts with mutually aligned perspectives. The Tech Faction is constantly up to date with new technology, and will utilize these advancements to achieve their goal.
Tech Faction discovered a gene-altering technology which aligns with the concept of pro-choice, as opposed to Traditional Faction’s pro-life stance. This gene-altering technology will be able to modify people’s fertility, from being fertile to infertile and vice versa. Tech Faction will use this technology within their governing system. A limited expert population will be executed by making sure everyone is initially infertile, and if one decides to have an offspring, they’ll be assessed on a few factors: their intellect, accomplishments, and ability to raise a child to assure the offspring is happy, healthy and will contribute to the advancement of society. Their genes will be modified in order to have an offspring if they’re fit, which will be decided by AI.
To sum up, the Tech Faction wants to provide life of a higher caliber, and will achieve this with gene-altering technology of one's fertility. This will create a more competent population with like-minded goals, and will also result in the acceleration of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Technocrats have the most futuristic and analytical perspective of Cryptopia, and aim to create self-sustaining industries running on technology. They partially consider the affect its output will have on climate, however if production and profits outweigh the environmental impacts, then the CO2 emissions won’t be a barrier in advancing society.

It began with a whitepaper, a document no one ever even knew existed until it was discovered seemingly by accident. Speculation was rife about who wrote it (though it was obvious to me from the start) but more important than the writer's identity were the ideas within the paper-the dream of a society living and thriving entirely on blockchain technology.
