Vision/Belief
Imagine a world where the primary goal is to enhance quality of life through technological advancements—this is precisely what the Tech faction, led by founder Sam Clark, envisions for Cryptopia. Their focus lies in innovating life through technology and scientific experimentation, aiming to reduce labor and improve living standards. The Tech faction prioritizes a limited number of experts who share tech-forward views, and their groundbreaking innovations include gene-altering tech found in Cryptopia Pets and fertility control methods. Their approach involves initial infertility for Cryptopians, with potential parenting based on thorough AI-driven assessments. These initiatives, guided by Sam Clark, aim to create a progressive Cryptopia where expertise thrives, life quality soars, and societal issues like uninformed voting and poverty become relics of the past.
Stats
In Cryptopia, every faction player must think about five key metrics that reflect their faction's ideology: Climate, Profit, Production, Science, and Cooperation. These metrics assist players in devising their gameplay strategies. Click here to learn more about the Key Aspects.
Opposition: Traditional Faction
The Traditional faction seeks to retain the largest population in order to influence policy for the masses, but the Tech faction opposes them. Technocrats argue that a larger population brings about several issues, including increased unemployment and strain on the infrastructure necessary to support housing, transportation, healthcare, and education.
Gameplay Factor
The universal population is the factor that will affect the Tech faction’s gameplay. The Tech faction wants to keep the population level low. The population level doesn’t derive from the number of players at a given time, it rather refers to the total population score of all buildings. Each building will receive a population score, and buildings from the Tech faction contribute to lowering the population score. So the more buildings created by the Tech faction, the lower the population level.
Voting
The Technocrats champion meritocracy, emphasizing skill and experience as leadership criteria. Members' influence and voting strength derive from their player level and intelligence score, reflecting the faction's value on intellectual prowess.
