A Paper That Changed the World

When I first read the second white paper, I was like any wide-eyed entrepreneur. I dreamed of becoming rich enough to change the world as I saw fit. But Satoshi opened my eyes to the impending danger: what good is having everything you want if you can't even live on this planet?

I gathered a group of like-minded individuals-entrepreneurs who believed in a prosperous world free of climate change. A world that we can pass on to our children with our heads held high. As the Earth's Disciples, we vote to create prosperity in the right way, by caring for the planet.

When we first heard of Cryptopia, I knew straightaway that we needed to be part of it. Cryptopia is Satoshi's dream, a model society for the world to emulate. This was the best place to show that our ideas worked.

However, over time, I could not deny that each of the factions were pursuing their own agendas. Their actions revealed this.

It wasn't all bad. By and large, our objectives align well with those of the Unifiers. A large, educated population who are focused on justice and rights will eventually see that a healthy environment works to their benefit. Similarly, the Technocrats provide a foundation on fact and science-they know that we will work with them towards building a sustainable future.

But the Inheritors don't care about these at all. They adhere to the worst aspects of the Old World: profit by any means possible, riches at the expense of the planet. To follow their lead is to build a city doomed to failure, which is the current trajectory of the world today. They will take any means, fair and foul, to ensure they will achieve their goal of an economy with zero social responsibility.

With a heavy heart, I declared to the Earth's Disciples that we must double our efforts. We must advocate our policies while preventing the Inheritors from forwarding theirs by all means at our disposal.

Cryptopia is too big a dream to surrender to "business as usual."

Our Goals

The white paper has outlined the path for environmental protection. Our goal is to make it a reality.

The blockchain is a secure and efficient tool for policy-making. With it, people can vote for policies that will protect the environment, ensure cleanliness of our air, and preserve the lives of plants and animals. We aim for a nation-state that uses only the cleanest energy sources: solar, hydro, wind power, and hopefully, nuclear fusion. We will support fission energy only if there are safeguards for disposing nuclear waste. We will also support any scientific research that removes excess CO2 and methane, two gasses that are especially damaging to the environment, from the atmosphere.

We shall build an economy centered around these policies. The result will be a slow and steady rise in income, one that takes into account the quality of life of all living creatures within Cryptopia. We will adamantly oppose all policies that incentivize practices that are dangerous and destructive to the environment, particularly those involving fossil fuels as energy sources. We will advocate the use of blockchain technology to monitor energy transactions and support the taxation of businesses that persist with leaving a large carbon footprint.

Without a doubt, the Inheritors will counter all of our efforts. They don't realize that they are under- mining the very goals they set out to accomplish. You cannot build a prosperous society without clean air, clear water, and natural resources. In the end, you can't eat money.

For a Better Tomorrow

Cryptopia is the example every society needs to follow, the reset button that will change the trajecto- ry of the world. This is why our faction must exert every effort to achieve our goal. If we succeed here, we can succeed everywhere.
