They perceive the rampant growth of human civilization as an existential threat to Nature, so they aim to steal as much wealth as they can from Cryptopia to stop the nation’s growth. Like a strangler fig growing on a tree, they will leech what wealth they can and use it to stop pollution and climate change.

With most governments intervening by making countless laws to control it, it has forced like-minded individuals to flee and reside elsewhere. This disparate group composed of hackers, med techs, and bioengineers eventually found their oasis in Cryptopia, made a ship called The Ark their headquarters, and established their reputation as the Genominers.
