    Industrial Pirate Ships

The Raptors

The dark mirror of the Industrial faction, The Raptors embrace the view of getting rich by whatever means, primarily taking loot from the unwary and converting it into legitimate wealth.

Background

The Raptors began as affiliated members of the Inheritors. Though they shared the same vision of a city free from the confines of old ways of business, they relished exploiting the loopholes and oversights of Cryptopia. This led them to follow a more ambitious and less moral leader, Reginald Nolan.

A truly ruthless and notoriously corrupt businessman, Reginald is the elder brother of the Industrial Fation’s own Peter Nolan. Envious of his more successful younger sibling, Reginald established The Raptors to rival the success of The Inheritors, using every underhanded means at their disposal. Ultimately, this meant piracy.

A good chunk of the Raptors’ cash flow comes from robbing unwary ships plying the city’s waters, preying on Cryptopia’s ships, and robbing citizens of resources. They then launder their ill-gotten wealth through their criminal network in the city, turning stolen resources into legitimate enterprises.

Reginald Nolan and his Raptors lie in wait in the islands for the inevitable slip-up, market crash, or surrender of any unfortunate business in Cryptopia (especially anything of Peter’s and the Inheritors). Like their namesake, they will then move in one hostile takeover after another, to eat out any of its remaining bones.

Industrial Pirate Ships

Orca - Starter Ship: The Orca's storage space lets greedy pirates hold more than loot than usual. Its high CO2 output is sure to anger any eco-minded citizen.

Charybdis - Frontier Ship: With its powerful CO2 engine and enormous cargo hold, this ship is a must-have for pirates aiming to gobble up wealth on the high seas.
